National Association of Nigerian Students Travel to Ghana

Leaders are stepping forward to be apart of the National Association of  Nigerian Students. This committee focuses on progress and compromise, their goal is to rebuild Africa piece by piece. They have relocated to Ghana to assist and provide knowledge on different situations, Ghana has the potential to be one of the strongest countries in Africa. They will soon be launching a multipurpose website which can also be used as a functional database. People have faith in these young student leaders who are helping create a brighter future. The NANS were assisted in many ways, they were supported by their communities most powerful elders. Although these leaders are from Nigeria and are unfamiliar with Ghana culture they continue to uplift and lead its people in the right direction. I believe this is an executed plan and its no way education can hurt them. Ghana has so many positive events, and this is the icing on the cake. Help from fellow brothers and sisters will bring Africa together as a whole.

2018 Interactive Events for Children

Children ranging 3-15 years old can participate in a mile race event that will include other engaging activities, such as running and jumping. They are put in different teams by age and placed in different obstacle courses that challenge their mind and body. This event is to show children that being active and exercising doesn't have to be dull. This event proves that moving your body and staying active is eventful and you can even evolve your friends. They are taught the importance of healthy lifestyles, in this generation children tend to stay in their homes due to electronic distractions. This event is located in Accra and has received various positive reviews from parents. This is a wonderful event that in my opinion will remind children that playing is fun but to teach them good sportsmanship. Overall, by giving them a chance to socialize it broadens their mindset and expands their interest in different sports.

Women Are Taking Over The Business Market

Statistics show that women own more than half of the businesses in Ghana. 46% of business owners are women, women set examples for their communities. They're seen as very strong representations of leaders, they provide for their families while working hard on their crafts. Entrepreneurship has proven to be one of the fastest way women in Ghana can strive to be successful and demand respect. Women are advancing and beating standards, the job these women usually take on wary depending on what they care for. Some Ghanaian women sell food, clothing, jewelry and even braid hair. I feel that this is a wonderful movement within the country, women are prospering and setting examples for their children. Every day women are a step closer to being the lead suppliers of Ghana, and soon the 46% will move up to 70%.

Artist Eric Gyamfi Captures His Appreciation for the L.G.B.T Community

Eric Gyamfi created a project called "Just Like Us" to empower qeer people of Ghana. The purpose of this project was to show that the L.G.B.T people are apart of the community, rather people acknowledge them or not. This is the first time people of the L.G.B.T community have gotten the spot light or any positive attention. The first piece Eric tried to publish showed how qeer people were abused, this received negative reviews.

People refused to feel sympathy for them and insisted that they deserved the treatments they were put in. Eric refused to let people stay ignorant about people who were just like them, so he decided to switch his motive and portray them in a different light. His next piece focused on capturing his muses in their natural element, showing what they do in their everyday lives. With this concept it's easier for other people to relate and help understand that this community of people aren't so different.
